The home of Senior, High School and Youth rugby in West Houston

We are excited about the future of rugby in Houston and invite you to join the West Houston Lions!

We are a group of highly energized players, coaches, parents and kids with a passion for rugby, and a long track record of developing successful rugby teams. Our aim is to provide an enjoyable rugby experience for all our members.

Through our dedicated coaches and coordinators we develop successful rugby teams from Cubs through to Seniors in the West Houston area. We are now looking to welcome new players and to build on what has been achieved in previous seasons.

The Seniors teams have been playing since 2006. Our Men's First XV side competes in the Red River Conference Division 2 this season.

As a club, we focus on developing all players from Cubs (age 3) through to Seniors. We aim to ensure that the children are learning and having fun, and that the parents feel part of the club too.

Texas High School Coaches Association turns to a program born from Rugby to help teach football players the correct tackling techniques to help reduce the amount of injuries and improve the tackling percentage of their teams.
